Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage

The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was established 45 years ago and is best known for its Orphans' Project, the first and most successful elephant orphan rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a pioneering conservation organisation, dedicated to the protection of wildlife and the preservation of habitats in East Africa.

Nairobi National Park Safari

Just a short drive from Nairobi’s central business district, Nairobi National Park offers a striking contrast of wide open grasslands against a backdrop of city skyscrapers. The park’s scattered acacia bushes are home to a diverse array of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, and over 400 species of birds. Visitors can take advantage of the park’s picnic areas, three campsites, and hiking trails.

Giraffe Centre

At the Giraffe Centre, visitors can interact closely with these majestic animals in a safe and controlled environment. A raised observation platform allows guests to hand-feed the giraffes while learning about their behavior, habitat, and conservation efforts. The giraffes, with their long necks and gentle demeanor, are remarkably friendly and often lean down to accept food pellets directly from visitors’ hands – or even lips – creating unforgettable moments.
